I took a DPhil in philosophy from Oxford. My main work is in phenomenology, though I have other philosophical interests too. I’m from the San Francisco Bay Area, but after returning from the UK to the States, I decided with my wife to live in Texas, where I worked as an independent scholar before taking up a post as the Thomas Jack Lynch Teacher-Scholar Postdoctoral Fellow at Wake Forest University’s Department of Philosophy for the 2018-19 academic year.

Currently, I am working on a new book Coram Deo: Exercises in Subjectivity.
